「We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. 」

「Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. 」

「Excellent staff, beautiful building and decor, everything was very clean and well maintained - our room was absolutely wonderful! We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious! Service in the bar was super friendly and the cocktails were very tasty! The only thing I would say is that the soundproofing between our room and the bar wasn’t great, so we could hear everything. It didn’t bother us at all as we had earplugs, and it quietened down from about 10:30pm. We...

They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. 」
