「Wonderful host who gave an extremely warm welcome. We needed a night away after a stressful week and Gerogie was so considerate and warm and couldnt do enough to make our stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Tea and coffee available, use of kitchen facilities, lovely hot tub, communal but good fun to get to know other guests. Food is abiut a 10-15 minute drive away, can recommend Poons Street food 」

「Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty.」

「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「Great location in the centre of town with loads of parking. Stayed in the older part of the hotel, bed is really comfortable, white crisp linen and towels, bathroom is clean with good shower, great breakfast with a nice bar that has proper Welsh ale, staff are friendly and helpful; carpets need a bit of tender loving care. Would stay again and recommend to others.」

「Have stayed here a few times now when working in the area. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean and easily accessible. Plenty of car park spaces. Can’t fault this place at all. 」

「Amazing as we remember it when we last came 9 years ago, had a Warm Welcome on arrival from Tracy's Son and we stayed in exactly the same room as we did 9 years ago. 「the staff were great changing our room from the 3rd floor to 1st floor due to a broken down lift. This was repaired the following day. The restaurant was excellent with adapting the menu to gluten free. No electric vehicle chargers but 2 convenient chargers a short walk away by the rugby club.」
