「Firstly, the chalet was very difficult to find. The host only gave us the instruction to check the map outside reception. After having to find a member of bar staff (as reception had closed by the time of our arrival), we were told this map had long been removed. Secondly, the chalet had a mould issue. The cabin had a foul odour throughout of damp. There was mould on the curtains and around fixtures and fittings. Thirdly, the shower did not drain quickly. By the end of your shower, you were up...

「Friendly staff, great breakfast, nice room and garden, great live music and eats at the pub, highly recommended!」

「Our room was quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful and gave us some great tips of places to visit and where to park. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice. Parking was a little tricky but was very safe and secure」

「We chose this hotel because we were planning to attend an event at a nearby beach. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to bad weather, which was very disappointing. However, staying at this hotel turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a comfortable and welcoming place. The staff were incredibly friendly, almost as if we had known them for years, but never in an intrusive way. They had just the right balance of warmth and friendliness that made us feel completely...

「A superb place to stay. Definitely recommend.」

「Lovely room, very spacious and cosy」

「All the staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice. We had dinner on one evening and all four of us were more than happy with the quality of the food. We will definitely stay again.」

「The room was perfect. So clean and nicely decorated. Everything you needed there. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend」

「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「Friendly hotel, helpful staff and great food. I'll be back.」

「The room was clean and spacious, with an extra bed provided. The toilet was also clean. However, the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay, and the bedside lamps were not in working condition. Apart from these issues, it was a nice and comfortable stay overall.」

「First time back to Jabajaks in twenty years and it more than loved up to the memory of the place. Staff are extremely personable and can't do enough to help. The vineyard tour was great and delicious! The suite (Garden Suite) was lovely. Cosy yet spacious. Now the food... Absolutely incredible. I had the pork bonbon to start. Almost cried with happiness. Then the lamb. I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it, every part of the meal was cooked to perfection, delicious and lots of...

「Very welcoming on arrival, large clean en-suite room, fabulous breakfast that set us up for the day and special dietary needs catered for. Would visit again. Highly recommended.」

「I found the property to be very clean and well equipped. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but as I was staying alone that wasn't a problem. I believe it would be plenty big enough for a couple. It was a great location for me as I was visiting quite a few sites around the area. I would highly recommend this property and I would very likely stay again.」

「Enjoyed a quiet night above the pub. Food available in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Cheerful and helpful staff at check in and out. Plentiful parking available. Good location in South Wales.」

「Room wasn’t overly clean. Was dusty and had cobwebs. This was a gold room and in picture advertising it showed a lovely bath which is why we chose it. When we got there it was a shower and we questioned it to be told it was just a catalogue picture and they had no baths! The shower was stained with orange and needed steam cleaning and bleaching. The bed was metal and squeaky when sitting on it and only a double so small for a gold room. Couldn’t open window as level with bushes so let all bugs...
