「Rooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful on suite bathroom. Staff very good and breakfast freshly cooked and not from a hot plate. Plenty of takeaways nearby but we are in and it was excellent. Only thing I could say against the Valley was nobody on reception. Road noise was also loud but didn’t really bother us too much. All in all an excellent stay and will be using again as a stop over before catching the ferry to Dublin. Well done The Valley and staff.」

The breakfasts, evening meals and Sunday carvery were all excellent. The hotel has clean comfortable rooms, and is a great base for exploring the area, with some lovely walks and places of historical interest. We will definitely visit again.」

My single bed room was very clean and functional. The mattress was firm which I prefer. The room had several tall windows with adjustable shutters.
