Such a unique place. Love the ambiance love the thought that went into the place. The scenery and nature is so well integrated. We used it as a bed and breakfast place but looks to be the perfect place for a private venue. Really appreciate the owner C. and all the work she puts into this place. Perfect base to see Normandy..

The host was very gracious and accommodating. She made us dinner reservations in town at a fantastic restaurant. Many horses on the property you could visit with. Rooms are brand new and spacious.

What a gem we were so fortunate to find at the last minute! Wonderful service and so beautiful!! Easy drives to the Omaha Beach museum and memorials. Breakfast was very tasty. We wished we had another night to spend to enjoy more time here. A great place for a family of four.

What is there not to like about Le Clos. Steps away from Omaha beach. About a mile or two from the American cemetery. D-day history everywhere. A very nice place to stay, quiet, clean and secluded. Fresh homemade pastries in the morning. The only negative is that darn rooster in the morning, which was not their fault. Caroline and her husband did everything to help us on our trip. They gave us maps, information for nice restaurants, and other things to do for the 75th anniversary of D-day. ...

Travelled alone and had a wonderful stay. Access code was provided for late check-in. There is limited parking and a €5 daily fee to park inside the gates but enough parking for free just outside. Cozy guesthouse and had a fantastic room with double bed and huge bathroom. Outside space is perfect for warm weather stays. Continental breakfast is included and served by very welcoming hosts. The guesthouse is situated in a great location with walking distance of all what Bayeux has to offer. ...

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It was a charming and quiet location in the Normandy region. We were able to travel to the various historical attractions in the area easily without having to stay in the heart of a city. Our room was very spacious, including the bathroom, and clean. The hosts at the B&B were very kind and considerate. And, the best part was the delicious and fresh breakfast every morning.

So much thanks to making my stay in Normandy wonderful! Florence is an incredible host. Her guidance provided us with so much insight of Arromanches and beyond. Our accommodations were amazing! Our suite that allowed us to be serenaded to the sound of the waves of the Normandy Coast through the double hung windows of this beautiful nineteenth century manoir. Breakfast was a must as we were woken to the aroma of fresh baked croissants and the sound of vintage 1940's music. My visit to the...

Hostess was amazing. The charm and hospitality in a genuine French countryside home. Surrounded by beauty!

Small b& b, easy to park, very clean

Charming retreat conveniently located to D-Day beaches. Immaculately clean, with very friendly owners who will make you feel right at home. Beautifully decorated with antique furnishings. Peaceful and relaxing with the serene sounds of nature outside your window. Breakfast includes breads, yogurts, coffee, milk, juice, and a dozen or so artisan jams to give you a taste of France. Very good wifi, maps and info about the area, and the owner was tremendously helpful in suggesting points of...

Great place to use as a home base for all the d-day sites!! Very friendly hosts and nice breakfast!

Great stay and really cool historical building. If arriving late be aware that parking might be tough and you might need to park in a nearby garage.

Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. Christine and Christoph made us feel at home from the very start, and they treated my father like he was the most important person in the world. That means a lot to me, It’s hard to know where to start when explaining why we loved it here. Firstly, the location: quiet, safe, local and with easy access to every possible location in Normandy. Secondly, the accommodation: beautifully decorated,...
