「Laconia week is usually busy at bike week and expensive. Stayed here on two different years and it was a good experience.」

「Felt like home. They do a great job offering events and music on 5he property. We had a tacos and tequila night. The beach just across the street is very accommodating with plenty 9f swim and boat gear. Great firepits for the campers to hang around and made good friends. The cabins are great but could use some updating and a little more cooking staples. Newer owners will probably remedy as they are always looking to improve.」

「Loved the location, proximity to downtown Meredith and restaurants. Went over to Weirs Beach snd took the narrated tour aboard the Mount Washington cruise. Loved the ambiance of the outdoor fire pit and the small beach access at the inn. There were kayaks available for rent as well. Grounds were well maintained and overall very quiet. All guests were respectful of each other. Room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was welcome and tasty! Late check out of 11 am was appreciated!」

「All mattresses seemed very old and springy in all rooms. Shower and toilet crammed into small room, could not sit comfortably when using rest room and I'm only 5'9 215 lbs. Everything else was good. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates, small appliances etc. First time staying at a place like this. Will just use a hotel next time so we can get fresh linens etc.」

「What a wonderful boutique hotel! The rooms are clean and many rooms have a mountain theme. Their lobby store is wonderful! So many cute things and all local to New Hampshire! The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. Highly recommend the Common Man!」

「First this is a weekend town. Sundays and Mondays it’s like the whole town and lake are asleep. Nothing is open. We stayed in 2 rooms at the chase house for 4 nights with waterfront balconies. The hotel is divided into four different buildings. The church landing building seemed to be the most ideal where you can actually enjoy the lake with the room you’re paying for. In the chase house, you are across the street. And the street during the day is LOUD! Trucks and motorcycles all day...
