Great location in the quiet town of Center Harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee. Owner is very helpful and accommodating. Close to some great dining, great getaway for the weekend. We will certainly return.

Thais ( the Innkeeper) and her staff are second to none! My wife and I stayed at Sutton Home for my birthday and we were both blown away by the condition of the property and how willing the staff was to go out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible! The Chef, Sally made the most wonderful breakfast for us each morning and stuck around long enough to have a friendly conversation. All in all, we his place is a SOLID 10/10, especially if you like historical homes with incredible hospitality! Thanks again Thais! We can’t wait to come back!

This is a very nice property. Nicely decorated with antiques and collectibles and classic furnishings. Owner Thais is an excellent host ready to make you feel at home. Very complete breakfasts with delicious food cooked by attentive staff. Our room was the Peach Lilly room on the first floor. You will hear road traffic noise.The room was very nice but the space distribution could improve. The bathroom is really small. The washbasin is outside the bathroom and located in the bedroom which is a bit inconvenient. The bedroom size is good for a couple but on the small side to accommodate 3 people. Overall we enjoyed the property very much and recommend it.

No to this place no idea how they have 4.8 stars

Nothing has been upgraded in more than 50 years here. my shower was 30" plastic insert with only a hand shower that had 2 drips...no real water stream or pressure and cold. No hot water. The other room we rented the TV didn't work. All things are not quaint but really moth eaten, and frankly, scary. Not cheap expected nicer.

We went to the Inn for a relaxing overnight. We walked to the restaurant for dinner - in the rain - the Inn offered golf umbrellas which were perfect since the restaurant was across the street. Sally gave us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The sunroom was perfect for breakfast and it was nice talking and getting to know the other guests. The owner told us the history of the Inn before breakfast while drinking delicous coffee and homemade cranberry scones. The room had more than everything you'll need to make your visit memorable. Such a gem with Lake Winnipesaukee right across the street. Can't wait to return

Sutton B and B was much more than expected. Thiesa (sorry if I spelt the name wrong) was very attentive and has done her research making sure that anything a guest needs would already be provided. She even had the snow brushes on the porch, umbrellas in the rack to use. I personally liked the history portion of the building looking at the architecture of it. Granted it has been updated since not every item can last more than 150 years the use for life does play a part. Updating it the attentiveness of the visual aspects nineteenth century was taken into consideration. I would definitely come back again without any reservation. Great Job.
