"The staff were all incredibly cheery and helpful. The food was excellent (coleslaw to die for!). The local beer, Hicks, was a good temperature. Fantastically cheap breakfast of anything! Dogs welcome in any room. England World Cup game was televised but the supporters were put in a large TV room away from the residents."

"The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend."

"Overall it was a good hotel. The spa is quite pricey. The access to the beach or to the small town from the hotel requires a walk along a narrow uneven path with steep steps or you can walk along the roadside but there is only a pavement for about half of the journey so you end up walking in the road, which is narrow and has blind spots. "Lovely stay at St.Moritz! A lot bigger than we realised but very nice. Lovely clean room & excellent bathroom. Everything we needed. Lovely fresh milk, quality biscuits and water in the fridge. It is called a cosy room but it was a lovely, well laid out room and the bathroom & shower was a good size. "First impression of reception was a bit of a muddle trying to locate my booking,but was shown to our bedroom which was very clean bright and airy,bed and linen looked new.Please get the small things right,window stays that don't because of the double glazing,net curtains need proper fixings,a days work could fix all the many small things that spoil the good ones.The dinning room and consevatory which is used for breakfast,are very good with fresh flowers on all tables.Cooked breakfast was very...
