「We checked in after midnight as we need to stay for one night before return home. Check in process was efficient and took only a few minutes. Reception lady was courteous and efficient. Would certainly stay again if needed in future.」

「This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

「Veldig koselig hotell med veldig bra frukost. God fleksibilitet kring innsjekkingen da vi ankom sent. Litt dumt at det var vanngymnastik i bassenget da vi skulle bade så vi måtte gå opp, men det var kun 30 min så det gikk fint. Trevlig personal og fantastiske omgivelser. 」

「Lovely hotel in a good position on the outskirts of Eastbourne , walking distance from the lovely village of Mead. Where there are shops and two pub/ restaurants. We found the staff to be both helpful and charming . Many thanks for an enjoyable stay .」

「We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon! 」
