"Great location friendly staff. Hotel in poor condition. Dated. Building work in gardens spoils view. Areas of hotel in dire need of work. Dining room walls unpainted socket hanging off wall. Room very underwhelming for supposed top suite. Walls dirty some areas old fashioned. Breakfast expected fresh cooked not canteen style buffet. Chaotic breakfast overlooking building site. Over priced for what it is and living off old reputation "

"This hotel was ideal for my 2 night stay in Penrith. The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and robes/slippers available for the pool and/or spa. Pool and gym opening hours were good and the gym is well equipped. Staff in all areas were helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu offered a varied selection and I ate there on both evenings. The atmosphere overall was relaxing. It was an ideal place to stay for my first visit to Penrith and I'd be happy to stay again. "
