「Hotel Rustico is actually like a service apartment. I love the environment around, they provided more than enough household equipment. There also some leisure places to walk, bicycle for you to ride and swing for kids. The boss and his mother are very nice, we enjoyed our vacation there very much. However, the lighting system needed to be upgraded.」

「The room is tidy, neat and decent. Tin, the only staff member of the hotel, is efficient, friendly, helpful and nice. However, the description on the website that the hotel is 12-minute walk away from Entrance 2 and 21-minute walk from Entrance 1 of the Plitvice National Park is false. It is actually far away from entrances. We had to hire a taxi (200 kuna per ride) to reach the hotel after getting off the bus, and then from hotel to Plitvice next day. Not recommended for those traveling...

「The owner was very kind. There was no kettle or spoon in the room, but when I asked, they lent me some. The room was fully heated, so it was comfortable even when it got cold at night. He even showed me routes that didn’t appear on Google Maps, using satellite images as a guide. I thought it might have been even more convenient to have a printed map in advance, but since it’s not a hotel, I suppose this was sufficient. Regarding the bus stop for my return trip, she recommended a location other...

「We knew we were not going to be at the hotel long in Plitvice so we looked for a place that we could save some money and this was a way better place than we expected. It is not big - it is 5 or 6 rooms and a small kitchen so if you are looking for a lounge or something then this place isn't it. If you are looking for a clean place with a helpful host, then this is great. The shower was great too! Only a 5 minute drive from Entrance 2.」

「The apartment was clean and had AC. But other than that i cant recommend the apartment. When we arrived, we got told that we need to leave 300€ security deposit in Cash with them - there was NO information about that in any of the 5 information-texts prior. As we didnt have that much cash on us, they made us get it immediately, they didn‘t care about out plans or the fact, that we need to pay 12% on top for withdrawing cash. We decided on this apartment mostly because of the pool - but there...
