Growing up in Michigan I was always close to water, so when I moved to Missouri that is something I have missed.

As I have explored the Missouri State Park system I have been fortunate to discover a number of parks with lakes, like Wakonda State Park. When I visited the park I immediately felt at home.

"I passed this on to the Front Desk Manager this morning…the room was clean and well-appointed, the beds were terrific, the breakfast was first-rate. Check-in was easy and smooth. The one minor complaint I had was that the TV service did not include access to Public Broadcasting stations. Overall, a very pleasant experience. "
