「Dans l’ensemble, j’ai passé un bon séjour à l’hôtel Castilla. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le restaurant est bon dans l’ensemble, sans être extraordinaire. 「Wij werden allervriendelijkst ontvangen door de receptie, spreekt goed Engels. Het eten, zowel ontbijt als diner, is bijzonder goed en veelzijdig. Ook mijn man met glutenallergie heeft kunnen smullen. Het dakterras heeft een prachtig uitzicht met gezellige bar. Ook is er een zwembad en worden er gratis strandlakens verstrekt. Al het personeel zeer vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels.」

「Our room was absolutely rotten. Our bed had really bad stains on it but they tried to cover it up with another sheet. The pillowcases didn’t even fit the pillows. New sheet put on but didn’t even go right round the bed. The dust was horrendous. We ran our fingers over the surface and left the load of dust to see how long it would take for it to be cleaned and when we were checking out the dust was still there in full sight so that was 8 days it sat on a pile. The water in the sink took forever...

「Bitterly disappointed 1) the website does not actually represent where you could be potentially staying, some rooms so so basic with camp style beds. The pictures online definitely do not represent this 2) the room smelled of drainage 3) I spent €10 on cleaners and bleach to hide/mask the smell 4) the hotel has 200 irons for 1000 rooms .. everyday we asked twice a day for an iron and could not be provided with one 5) hotel staff where at times incredibly rude! 「Room was kept very clean. On the whole staff were very helpful but one or 2 glitches such as not being able to get a drink at the bar at 22:30 one evening and being sent on a wild goose chase to the 5th floor bar which never seemed to be open. Good breakfast and restaurant. Useful to know: water bowser on the first floor」
