「We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Bollard House on Leisure Isle while traveling the Garden Route. Great location, other guests who seem to return often were helpful and welcoming as was our host Mike, who along with his staff served a delicious breakfast. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Easy to visit Plett, Robberg Nature Preserve, the Heads, and the Elephant Sanctuary. Wonderful stay!」

「The room was fantastic. The view is breathtaking of course. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It was super quiet aside from the roar of the ocean in the heads which we fell asleep to every night. The food is very good too. All in all a very very enjoyable stay. Thank you. 」

「Brenton on the Rocks is, without a doubt, one of the most magnificent guesthouses I have ever experienced. Perched right on the cliffs, the location is breathtaking, but it’s the hospitality and attention to detail that truly set it apart. What We Loved: • The Setting: There is a beautiful, hidden private beach accessible via a path directly from the property. It felt like our own secret paradise. • The Room & Property: Our suite was beautifully appointed and decorated with impeccable taste....

「Unfortunately not as expected. Needs a lot of work done. Not maintained and very porely managed. Well below expectations considering the price. Staff is sitting around on the cell phones or playing games on computers during working hours in the hotel lobby. 」

「The location can't be beat. The trail along the bluff makes for the best morning and evening strolls, as it overlooks the beaches below. The unit was great, clean and quiet. The bed-linen and silverware can be replaced, as it has reached the end-of-life. The Brento-on-sea location is a very peaceful location along this coastline, and the views are beyond special. 」

「Beautiful room with the most amazing view. Eating a delicious breakfast on our terrace was just heavenly. The staff here are wonderful, they couldn’t be more helpful, but never in an intrusive way. I’d like to give a special mention to Tracey who greeted us with a smile and answered all our queries. The only minor niggle for us was that after a week of travel we had planned to do our laundry here but they are not currently offering a laundry service however we did find a self service...

It has not been looked after with dirty old chairs and sunbeds, and unkept pool area and ground There are dogs on site, which came into the food eating area several times. The owner removed them but didn’t control their return. The photos of the room was very misleading in the size..」

「Lovely place to stay in central knysna , impressive wooden atrium, polite staff and helpful as we stayed an extra night with a discount. Down side no lifts so not suitable for people with mobility issues 」
