I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were the best part. So friendly and welcoming. They waited on us hand and foot and no request was too much for them. The staff was phenomenal. The property itself is very nice in a very nice neighborhood overlooking the bay. We were treated as good as I've ever been treated. Very clean. The staff was exceedingly friendly. They even washed our car as it was dirty. There was tea hour. Later a happy hour. They arranged dinner reservations and transportations. Definitely a five-star property.

We loved our stay at this beautiful, boutique hotel! Our room had beautiful views, and was well equipped with all the luxuries including a small bottle of delicious sherry. The hosts and staff were wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and there was also afternoon tea and happy hour in the main lounge. Why stay at boring hotels when you can stay at these unique special places. We will be back ! Thank you Ross and Bianca and the entire staff !

Honeymoon week at villa afrikana

The stay was exceptional in the sense that the hosts really care about your day. Everything was so clean and the breakfast was simply world class. We also loved the view of knysna everyday. Seriously the best view in town. We had our honeymoon there and we were treated with absolute TLC all the way.

Estrutura incrível e atendimento impecável

A Villa Afrikana foi, sem dúvida, uma surpresa indispensável em viagem à África do Sul e à famosa rota dos jardins. O ambiente e a estrutura do hotel são modernos e com uma decoração elegante. O atendimento de todos os funcionários foi extraordinário, mas com destaque especial à funcionária Blousy. Todos foram sempre muito atenciosos e preocupados com cada detalhe da nossa estadia em Knysna. Mais incrível ainda é a vista do hotel para a Knysna, o que torna a estadia no hotel e na cidade ainda mais surpreendentes.

Wow, fantastic view and superlative service

Lovely hotel with fantastic personalised service. Would suggest more hot meal options for breakfast. Also no lift in the hotel which could be an issue for some. However the staff was very helpful with the luggage. Would suggest an intercom or phone in the room to contact the reception.
