"Change of management since we were last at Mallyan Spout. Definitely for the better. Lovely welcome, everywhere was spotless and smelt really clean. Great room overlooking the gardens. Lovely food and staff too. Couldn't fault our stay. Would definitely recommend."

"Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."

"The facilities are being added to : restaurants etc. our room, themed room: Cape Town was decorated to good standard. The best breakfast, parking and access was very good. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. It was great experience and would go again Thanks to all the staff."
