"The mattress was comfortable enough but not when it overhangs the divan base by a huge amount such that you could fall off. The staff refused to acknowledge our complaint, dismissing it as normal to put a large double mattress over smaller twin bases. They even implied we had created the problem by moving the bases together ourselves. Terrible customer service! Generally the decor was tired and the room too small despite the Privilege category. "

"Travelling through France & stayed here for a night. A wonderful place to stay, we had a little villa all to ourselves. Spotlessly clean, comfortable & issues with a lock quickly remedied. Local restaurants were closed on Monday but an Intermarché nearby ensured we had everything needed to cook a meal. "HOTELS.COM did not call this hotel Fast Hotel when we booked and did not mention that it was a 1 star hotel. If you are used to this type of hotel, then ok, but if not... you'll get another room at another hotel like we did. "This is a quiet hotel in a spectacular setting. The grounds are beautiful. Stay in the Horneste suite for a private deck and amazing views! It would be better to have a car if visiting this property, but you can walk to the smaller (less popular) beach in 25 minutes. Use montransport com to reserve a transport to/from the train station, as I did not see any taxis in Gruissan."

"Have had bad experiences booking hotels in France but we were very happy with our accommodation. Small kitchen, fridge and a tiny dishwasher! Could have been a bit cleaner, just needed floors sweeping. Close enough to walk to train station and eating shopping areas. Overall very good."
