We received a wonderfully warm welcome from staff pursuing the highest standards of customer care and engagement. The Hotel la Prison is part boutique hotel, part immersive cultural experience, part modern art gallery. And the sum of the parts is a unique hotel experience. Really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, even if range limited (curated!), in the attached bistro and the ambition in the evening meal we had in the same location.
The compact gym: with (soft toy) rabbit model.
Art Walls - part enrichment of rooms, part gallery.
Intriguing and immersive artworks on display.

Lovely location with views out over the river Orb. Right next to Cathedral. Close to several very pleasant restaurants. Very walkable to Hotel de Ville, tourist office, market hall, Carrefour, laundromat, Plateau des Poetes and Jardin de la Plantade parks, SNCF train station, transit hub at Place DeGaulle, and lots of shopping of all kinds.

Rooms are full of character and decorated to a very good standard. Not all rooms have a view, but the proximity to the Cathedral and walking distance to the old town and restaurants makes up for it.
