"The present Century House is a very dated hotel, I think they are replacing it with a new one doen the street, however what they lack in decor they surpass in hospitality. Everyone from the reception desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here overnight for our son's graduation from RPI. I refused to be price gagged by the ridiculous prices, and required multiple day stay, at the hotels in Troy. This place is an easy 10 min. drive to the college. The breakfast was ok but we didn't have time to eat out because we had to leave by 6:45a.m."

"I booked this hotel a month in advance in preparation for my son's college graduation. I have been communicating with them via email and have received confirmation that my rooms would be available. Upon arrival, I check in at the front desk and was informed that my rooms were no longer available and they overbooked. This is beyond unprofessional! My family and I were inconvenienced with no consideration. There was no communication prior to even inform me that the rooms were gone. As a Hilton member I am beyond disappointed and do not anticipate spending my money with this company any further."

"This property was great for a night. The room and bathroom were clean. We stayed in a no smoking room but hallway wreaked of pot. The AC is a somewhat older wall unit very noisy. TV has static lines when turned on and could not be used. Floors were sticky but I think it’s the floor material and what is used to clean them. The room overall was clean."
