"A Fantastic Stay That Felt Like Home This was one of the best and most enjoyable stays of my 11-day road trip through five new states: Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware, and Connecticut, bringing my total to 45 states visited. It was a wonderful place to end the trip. What made this stay especially memorable was how personal and welcoming it felt. The hosts are genuinely wonderful people: warm, kind, welcoming, and very interesting to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversations. The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, less than a minute’s walk from a lovely lake, with a beautiful pond nearby. The area feels calm, quiet, and very safe, and parking is extremely easy. My second-floor room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Each room and the main entrance have electronic keypad codes, making everything convenient and secure. The common area is wonderful, with a beautiful view. I enjoyed relaxing there, watching Netflix, and getting some work done. It truly felt like having a living room away from home. Water, coffee, breakfast items, and other conveniences are thoughtfully provided. Everything is well cared for, but the hospitality is what makes this place special. I would absolutely stay here again. Five stars without hesitation."

"My stay at Abbey’s was wonderful! I stayed in the “Mystic” room. It was a very peaceful environment and I loved the tub. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious as well! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the bathroom smelled VERY strongly of urine… which made its way into the full room. I thought it may be the P traps so I opened all the faucets for a few minutes, but that didn’t seem to help. I ended up finding some room freshening spray that I used very often to help with the smell. I only stayed 3 nights, but if I stayed any longer I would’ve brought it up to the owner."
