"Very kind staff. The cleaning was not very good as the did not seem very throrough e.g. had a dead mosquito at my mirror for 2,5 weeks. I had several issues with my room and the drain and missing towels etc. but the staff tried to solve it during my stay. The location is fine if you have a scooter but a little far in walking distance otherwise. Nice pool area, good laundry service, and nice with the little café to get and ice coffee in the morning. "

Excellent stay

"We stayed at Avani+ Koh Lanta for 3 nights in a pool villa and overall had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. Our private pool villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the buggy service, which was super quick every time we called — rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The pool bar was great, and the happy hour from 5–6 PM was a nice touch. That said, when it gets busy, it can be a little hard to get your drinks in time before happy hour ends. We also found the pool bar closed quite early in the evening — not sure if that’s just during low season or standard for the resort. Food at the resort was good, though a bit on the expensive side — which is expected for a resort. In our opinion, the menu could benefit from a bit more variety, especially since there’s only one restaurant and the location is quite secluded from other dining options. Despite these small points, we really enjoyed our time here. The peaceful setting, friendly service, and overall vibe made it a memorable stay. We’d happily come back again! "

"Villas are directly on to the Beach. Beach is stunning, and amazing restaurants and bars all along the beach. The check staff spoke very good english and gave very helpful specific instructions. We could have spent alot more time at this amazing resort. Lanta walking street was a 7min tuk tuk drive away to the shopping markets Also English speaking tour service at reception to help plan your tours. We loved our stay at koh lanta Beach Bungalow "

"With only 4 days before our trip our initial hotel cancelled our booking last minute so Expedia helped us find this alternative. We didn’t have much time to decide so were initially concerned with where we’d quickly plumped for. However, we have no complaints. The management contacted us straight away and arranged an airport transfer. The bungalows are only basic facilities but are clean and in a good area of the island. Perhaps a 2 minute walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as there are pretty much the entire length of the western coastline. Plenty of tuk tuks around so you can easily get around to other local areas or beyond. The hotel helped us to arrange a hire car with a company they use. It was delivered to the hotel and was a great service at a good price. We had a couple of very nice pizzas from the hotel. We only used the pool a couple of times but it was a lovely area to lounge with a bar. The hostel next has been mentioned by others but we didn’t find it too disturbing at all. We spent two weeks here so in retrospect we would have been content with maybe a week here before moving on to another accommodation elsewhere on the island or beyond. For the price -we can’t fault the staff or hotel at all . We were made very welcome throughout and wish Wonderful Resort well for the future."
