「Warm welcome led to a spotless room with complimentary Gin. Really impressed with standard of accommodation and staff were all friendly and approachable, nothing too much trouble. Com only charged for one person to have breakfast during our stay, so as soon as we arrived i had to pay a further £42 for my wife's 3 breakdasts. I alco had already paid About £45 in taxes and Fees to Hotels.Com, which i would have not incurred if i had booked directly with the hotel. So lesson learnt. About £90 out of pocket due to Hotels.com more than required. However as i said the Hotel was terrific . 」

「The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. 「we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. 「This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again. 」
