"You can't go wrong with High Peaks. We don't go usually because it's super expensive but rates were good this weekend. They are so kind with dogs. read the fine prints, there are some fees for your pooch. great staff, great time !"

Great hotel - fantastic service!

"The hotel is right in the heart of Lake Placid. It's incredibly easy to walk around, and enjoy everything about the location. Right near Mirror Lake, and walking distance to all the cute shops and restaurants. Service was perfect - check-in was a snap. One of the best things was the free breakfast. There was a lovely, hard working woman there both mornings. She was busting her butt to keep things replenished and clean. She seriously deserves a raise!!! It was an all-around great stay!"
