But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive). Staff at reception were kind and helpful). Overall, a good choice if you want to spend a few days in the beautiful Lago di Garda."

"I haven't stayed in this hotel since 2012 and I must say its an incredible property in the perfect setting. However, on the first night we witnessed the restaurant staff have an absolute meltdown, it was embarrassing for all involved. The GM apologised and after that day everything was reasonably normal, however, there was an issue, and we never went back in the evenings. The main restaurant (Oseleta) on the other hand was truly exceptional, which is why it now has a Michelin star... The food...

"Really nice campsite with mobile homes amongst pine and olive trees, right by the lake. We had a mobile home which was ok, had all the utensils in (apart from a kettle) but we lacked some decking area/picket fence to provide some privacy that other mobile homes had which felt a bit odd. Nice balcony, breakfast was included really nice just need some proper sausages as they were very hard and scrambled eggs weren’t nice. Orange juice was really good. Swimming pool was excellent and our daughter loved it. Overall a definite 3*++ hotel."

"A truly special place. The staff are incredible and genuinely can’t do enough for you. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are lovely and very well maintained, and the free spa access is a fantastic bonus. The spa was also very quiet during our stay. The sun loungers on the lake are fantastic, with very attentive lifeguards who even move your umbrella to make sure you stay shaded. The thermal pool is lovely too. The breakfast is very comprehensive, with a great selection of hot and cold food, hot drinks, as well as the option to order eggs exactly how you like them. The location is excellent, right outside the entrance to the historic centre. It’s also close to bus routes, making it very easy to get around, including getting to Verona. 10/10 experience. If we return to Lake Garda, we will certainly stay here again."
