This was literally the best hotel that we've ever stayed at (which includes several Ritz and Four Seasons). When it says "on the beach", it's an understatement. We were on the first floor with the balcony feeling like we were over the water. The pool was also great, with the staff keeping up with lounge chair occupancy so nobody could "squat" all day without using it. The location in the town was amazing with an easy walk to breakfast each morning and dinner each evening (I'm sure that the hotel restaurants were nice, we just wanted to explore the town). The room was very nice and updated, with a big shower, huge separate tub, and double vanity sink.

Beautiful view from oceanfront room, as pictured, sparkling clean room, helpful staff. Accessible to north Laguna from trolley and a mile walk otherwise. My only complaint was the lack of transparency for requested early check in. I would prefer a ‘no’ rather than we will see and call you.. I checked every 30 min for status. If i knew it would never happen then I would have made other plans during that time. Expectations matter.

We were upgraded to an ocean front studio at no additional cost. Very polite, friendly & professional staff. The hotel has been recently renovated & is stunning as are the rooms! Sunsets are amazing here. Splashes restaurant has excellent food & service. There’s also a morning coffee cafe for a quick on the go light breakfast. Loved it here!!

Great newly renovated property. Rooms have spectacular ocean views and first class all the way. The amenities they offer are top notch and fitting of a five star resort. The service was top notch as well and meets the five star standard. The restaurant was excellent but only one on the property. There are many excellent dining options in the area though and things to do. Very walkable. It seems to be set up more for private romantic stays and doesn’t have much in terms of activities or amenities for kids. No statement about LBBTQ+ inclusivity on this properties website or others the JC Property ownership group has which concerns me being part of the LGBTQ+ community. True five star resort though.

My daughter and I stayed here for a final mother daughter fling before baby comes in December. We had the best time. Our room overlooked the pool, cabanas and ocean, an excellent choice. The staff was so helpful. When we dropped a bottle of wine and it broke on the floor, the front desk cleaned it up and sent us another bottle of wine to our room with a very nice note. When we had to move to another room, they were very understanding and moved us immediately. Great personal service. The beach view was incredible.
