"Have to PAY for Parking which is super annoying. It's $15 I believe, but they gave me a code for a discount which made it $12. I will stay somewhere else next time, just because of the parking situation.
Hotel is just okay, dated but kept clean. The open lobby is somewhat strange and has old fake plants hanging off the sides of the walkways. One of the elevators was out of service. Went to the Starbucks in the morning, all the lights were on and looked open, but no barista. I stood around for a few minutes and then left and got coffee somewhere else.
I've stayed at much nicer Hiltons."
"We had to move rooms our first night because of a water leak. Then the bathroom in our second room started to leak water but at a very slower pace, thankfully. I don’t know if it’s because it’s not taken care of or because of all the snow they got. But I will say that the front desk staff were absolutely amazing, especially his. He worked diligently to get us into our new room comfortably, and almost begged to help us move our things! And he had the best recommendations for restaurants in town! Like six or seven places, lol he has a fine young man and deserves a raise!"
"Cute and clean room. They had the fire pit going each night we were there but we didn’t use it as we were exhausted. We did see others out enjoying it!"
"My wife and I recently stayed at Blue Door Inn in Estes Park, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was excellent—close to Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown Estes Park, restaurants, and shopping, while still being quiet and relaxing.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the beautiful mountain views and the peaceful atmosphere after long days of sightseeing and exploring the park. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and check-out easy.
The property offered good value for the area, and we enjoyed having a comfortable place to return to each evening. We would gladly stay here again on a future trip to Estes Park and would recommend Blue Door Inn to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located hotel near Rocky Mountain National Park."
