"We enjoyed a wonderful week at Village Beach Cottages ! The atmosphere is welcoming,peaceful & relaxing. It is a lovely property with beautiful views & very friendly people who looked after us so well. Austin was waiting for us at the airport & Claudius was there to take us back when it was time to say goodbye to St Lucia. Everything was looked after. We learned a lot about the island & history of the property from owner Colin Hunte. He asked us what we’d like to see & do during our stay then gave us maps & suggestions. We only had to speak to the lovely ladies at reception & they booked taxis, tours & restaurant reservations. A special thank you to Chatelle for her kind help & to Richie who was an excellent driver/tour guide. We appreciated having a well equipped kitchen & had most of our meals on our spacious second floor porch overlooking the pool & ocean. ( We had two delicious meals at the on-site restaurant as well). The sound of the surf & the beautiful view were a constant balm to the soul. Could even enjoy the view from bed. Loved walking the beach ,swims in the ocean & pool & watching the sunset every night as well. We stayed in a standard suite which was spacious, comfortable & very clean. We loved our stay at Villa Beach Cottages & were talking about “next time”before we even left. Would definitely recommend!"

"It is no wonder this is such a popular resort. The staff were outstanding…too many to mention, but here are a few: Lovina buffet restaurant), Rose (housekeeping), Kershana (activities) and yoga master Vernon! Food was great, esp on the Verandah and Trattoria. Only negative was Hermina at the reservations desk…her blunt negative attitude stood out amongst everyone else’s easy, friendly demeanour. The resort did a commendable job clearing out the sargassum each morning. And it was a pleasant surprise to play on four dedicated pickleball courts. Overall, while our Adults Only section gave us the quiet relaxing vibe we wanted, it was fun to see all the kids and parents enjoying themselves in the waterpark, at the pool and around the Cove. "I take great care in doing my research before booking each vacation and I had high expectations for this resort. I am happy to say all expectations were absolutely exceeded! This is an astonishingly beautiful and unique spot to stay. Every single staff member was amazingly gracious and welcoming, we enjoyed the food and absolutely loved this stay. The resort attracts very interesting guests and would highly recommend booking the excursions. Prices are reasonable and the drivers are excellent…roads are not for the faint of heart!’ Truly a beautiful island and resort is in the heart of it in every way. Highlight for us was doing the Gros Piton hike, we are in our mid fifties and although a challenge, loved every minute of it (although next day definitely a beach/snorkel/recovery day!) We also really enjoyed the low key yet very talented nightly entertainment, excellent way to end the day! So very thankful to have spent five nights here, cannot wait to to return!"

"A resort is located is a beautiful Marigot Bay where you have a nice views. Grounds are nice but have steep roads and on some it’s challenging to walk up and down. I didn’t like food in any of the restaurants. My room was spacious but very outdated. "

"The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "
