「We absolutely loved Casa de la Luz! Very historic yet updated building in the heart of the historic district. We felt safe walking through the nearby streets after sundown and even tried street tacos made out of a shopping cart. Highly recommend this lodging for a layover at MEX. 」

「Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. 」

「The breakfast package we purchased with the room, was not that good, in my honest opinion. we only ate it 1 of the 3 mornings we were there. thankfully, there are lots of restaurants and pastry shops in walking distance! but the hotel was 10/10! very nice staff, the rooms are beautiful and spacious and clean! would stay here again, just wouldn't purchase the breakfast package or eat lunch at the hotel.」

「This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally.」

「The apartment was fine. 2bd, 2 bath in good condition. Nelson who is staff was excellent, very attentive and super helpful. The issue is the noise. Very difficult to sleep, the window pane is thin and you can hear everything happening in the street. You would have motorcycles passing by at all hours of the night and would wake you up because of the exhaust, and then they would rev the engine. It was difficult to get a good night sleep every night. 」

「Tenian una promocion de una pizza y una cubeta de cervezas, la compramos pero fue un martirio ya que solo estaba una persona y tardo una eternidad en completar el pedido, para colmo se le olvido una parte y la cerveza batallo hasta para conseguir el hielo, al final tuvimos que cenar tarde y la comida fria」
