Excellent place to stay !

Beautiful hotel, it’s actually out favourite from all the ones we had stayed in out trip. We wish we could had strayed more nights in there for sure. Super clean, walking distance to everything and not crowded.

The staff service was incredible, the hotel was most convenient to everything, the sake tasting was excellent and most informative. Yuki and the young man running the hotel were some of the kindest most welcoming people on our trip We will definitely be back Thank you for a wonderful stay. Our stay at Tanakaya was EXCEPTIONAL!!! We truly loved every single second - so much so that we booked a second trip back during our time in Japan! Tanakaya and his amazing wife were the absolute best hosts! They made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make our stay magical! The rooms are immaculately clean and every detail is done with love and care! The location is excellent - walkable and convenient, but on an adorable quite side street. This was one of the most excellent stays we have ever been to - we are beyond grateful for our special time at Tanakaya!

This hotel was amazing would highly recommend people to stay here! English friendly, the nicest people working there! Clean and nice rooms! The workers there were helpful for everything! Best experience I’ve ever had with a hotel!
