A wonderful 3 nights here. If we ever go to Kyoto again, we will definite stay here again! Great facilities, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a great location with a station and some really tasty and affordable places to eat nearby. Very well run hotel.

Great experience!
Room service was outstanding. They provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay at their hotel. It was very quiet despite being very close to a busy road. The price was very reasonable. I will make this my hotel of choice when staying in Kyoto again.

Four star atmosphere in this three star hotel. I had the bathhouse mostly to myself and the breakfasts were good. The location is not super central but everything else is very sleek.

4 very nice nights
Stayed here 4 nights with my girlfriend who flew in from China and me from Texas. Very charming property. Staff was very nice and helpful. Close to train station, places to eat and shop.

Staying at this hotel during our visit to Kyoto was nothing short of a blissful experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were treated to an exceptional level of hospitality that's truly representative of the spirit of omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality. What immediately captured our hearts was the public bath. Immaculately maintained, it offered a tranquil, soothing atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Kyoto's historic sites. The heat of the bath, combined with the serene ambiance, worked like magic to melt away all traces of fatigue. The friendly, helpful, and professional staff further elevated our experience. The Best Hotel Experience
Such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, everything was just perfect. Super friendly and polite staff, extremely clean and well kept, every day they made our beds and cleaned the bathrooms. The room was beautiful, modern and clean. The bathroom was pretty cool, the shower was separate from the toilet, nice deep tub and they provide all toiletries, shampoo, conditioner and body soap (full size). The toilet had some cool technology, sensor that opens the lid, it sprayed deodorizer, and had heated seat and bidet functions. The lobby had washcloths, razors, qtips, etc. complimentary for you to take. Our room's window opened slightly which is nice to let in some fresh air. Air conditioning worked well and even though it turns off when you remove your card the room was always nice and cool after we returned from a day of exploring and we had really sunny days (20 degrees cel.) The hotel had umbrellas as well that they gave us free of charge when we it was we had rainy days. There is vending machines, public bath and coin laundry on the main floor. The JR train station, Tambaguchi is literally a 4 minute walk from the hotel (across the street from 7eleven. It was so nice and super easy to get everywhere. Nijo castle is only one train stop away. Kyoto station is just a couple stops away. It was just the perfect location to get around Kyoto and to go exploring other places like Nara and Osaka. Very satisfied!

Excellent stay!
Overall great stay! Was very happy with the location and the hotel was super clean! Staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. Maybe could have had a little more variety but was very happy. Looking forward to staying again!

Walking distance to JR station around 10mins. Not consider close to JR station but the Hotel very new and clean. Like the facilities like public hotspring & sauna can help to keep warm after walk around. The only 1 need to improve is not available for queen size bed, only single bed. Even the room space is allow for it. Overall the hotel environment is good for couple to feel local lifestyle.

Highly recommend hotel
Very nice room. Great bathroom was a plus. Appx 4 mins walk to the train Tambaguchi station and nearby bus stop. Convenient stores closed by. Just recommended my friend to stay at this hotel for her trip next week.

Value for money
Very new hotel. Close to the JR station. Room was a bit limit space but is normal size in Japan. We’ve enjoy with free drinks for everyday. And for the shower in bathroom is the best than other hotel that I’ve stay. Love the public bathroom, hot onsen. Recommend For all guest stay here

Excellent service except that we didn’t appreciate the hotel staff greeted us in Chinese. We are in Japan and should be treated in Japanese greetings, and not be discriminated based on the passport we carry.

I want to give it a higher rating because overall is not bad at all, BUT, the room is really way too small. I had lived in three different hotels in this trip, S-Peria's room is comparatively the smallest. I don't mind it being that small, but it probably shouldn't let 3 people to sleep in it. Besides, the location is quite convenient. It is very close to the JR Station. The other Hankyu Station requires a 15 minutes walk, but you probably have to use it once or twice so it's ok. Another issue is everything is written in Japanese, the thermostat, shower, and TV, which makes it hard for a foreigner to operate.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff
The hotel was very close to the train and bus stations. It’s just 2 stops from Kyoto Station. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There is an onsen (not sure if it’s really an onsen or just a hot tub, but it was nice and clean nonetheless) for guests to use and free drinks every evening (non-alcoholic). The room itself was small like standard rooms in Japan, but it was clean and very nice. The shower was very nice. Everything about the room was nice and comfortable. I’d recommend this hotel!

This hotels is 2 stops away from Kyoto station. I found this location to be very central and easy to access many of the main tourist sites in Kyoto like Sagao Arashiyama, Fushmi Inari Shrine. The JR station close by was Tambaguchi. It's only 3mins away. Rooms were large for Japanese standards. Coin laundry and dry was really helpful. There are complementary non alcoholic drinks from 4pm to 11pm. Staff spoke english. Not a lot of food options nearby. Only a 7 eleven which is where I had breakfast

Super convenient location, great rooms and the hot spring baths were a nice bonus. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and went the extra mile to help me out after travel plans had to change. Overall I was really impressed and happy to recommend!

京都よりJR嵯峨野線 丹波口駅は二駅目と近く、ホテルも丹波口駅より徒歩5～６分と交通の便が非常に良く、部屋の多少の狭さをカバーして余りあると評価できます。 宿泊費用も納得の金額だと思います。

京都駅から伸びる地下鉄線沿いの通りから大きく外れており、バスやタクシーを駆使しなければならない。京都駅から嵐山に行くJR線の途中のため、目的が嵐山であれば問題はなさそうだが、場所はあまり良くない。その分施設は綺麗でお値段も割安感あり。 トイレとお風呂が別部屋であるのはこの値段では珍しく高評価。 ベッドは好みで評価が分かれるかと思うが、自分には柔らかすぎてあまり眠れなかった。 掃除は行き届いていたが、洗面所の小物置きの中に付け爪が残っていて残念な気持ちになった。

清潔度理想，小小的溫泉也恰到好處，附近亦有不少夜泊停車場，價錢也不昂貴。離酒店步行5至10分鐘也有便利店，超市及藥店。

청결하고 직원들의 응대는 아주 좋았습니다만, 케리어를 펼칠 수 있을 정도로 방이 조금 더 컸다면 아주 만족했을 겁니다. 조식은 한 두번은 괜찮으나 그 이상 숙박할 경우, 같은 내용으로 반복되어 좀 질렸습니다.
