Neat experience. It was very well organized. They are not tattoo friendly in the onsen so keep that in mind when you book.

The overall onsen experience felt a bit contrived. This is a very big, very new hotel. Not an authentic experience. Check-in is pure insanity, with the number of people coming in and out. The same for breakfast buffet. But it is nearly new so very clean and in great shape! I doubt that will last with the volume of people they are moving, though…

Friendly staffs, great amenities, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the hot spring bath aka. Onsen. They have an all you can eat breakfast which is a must try. This hotel located not too far from Kyoto station so it is walkable. Overall, we have a good experience staying at this hotel.

Do not get fooled by the entrance, this is a very big hotel. Upon arrival you need to store your shoes in a small locker. Luggagewheels are desinfected, as the whole hotel is covered by tatami’s. The check-in is fairly busy, there are a lot of group bookings here (also loads of luggage in the lobby). The rooms are small, as is the bathroom, but we loved the walk-in shower. Beds are reasonably comfortable, but Japanese like rocklike pillows. We did nut use the Onsen, too many different people to be convinced about hygiene. But that is a personal opinion, no experience. Breakfast is very busy, but there is ample choice. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to Kyoto station. So all in all a good place to stay in Kyoto

This hotel is beyond my expectations, excellent staff, quality breakfast, comfortable hot springs, we have the only good words for this hotel and definitely will come back when my family comes to visit Kyoto next year!

The property was very clean and the breakfast buffet was the best of the 4 different hotels we've stayed at in Japan for this trip. It was very close to the Kyoto station and all the eateries.

Hot spring, perks such as ice cream, night time ramen and massage chair. The staff were outstanding. They even put our family rooms next to each other without us having to request it. I love that. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Kyoto.

Enjoy the hot springs after long days of site seeing. Quiet and clean room. Walking distance to Kyoto station and bus stop close by. Ramen is served at night—included as part service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The beds and pillows were horrible. I understand it is Japanese type but a futon bed and pillow was not fun for a couple of older people. They should at least let you know before hand.

Onsen is free for all hotel guests to use, there is also free ramen and drinks for all hotel guests from 2100-2300 daily. There is also laundromat room for guests to use. Walkable from Kyoto Station. Hotel room is definitely small for a family with a young kid.

It's my first time staying at this hotel the staff was always kind and cordial. The Hot spring was truly amazing. The breakfast is really good with many options. The only downside I have to say is the beds are like rocks.

Convenience to dining and public transportation. The optional buffet style breakfast was exceptional which is a huge plus. Cute decor here and there which mixes traditional and modern nuances are nice touches. I booked with an impression that the hotel might have been around for awhile since it has onsen. But the hotel looks like it has just undergone a renovation recently and all area is kept very clean. We didn’t use the onset since we only stayed for one night. Would definitely come back and stay longer next time.
