It’s a lovely japenese style guest house that gives you the full Nihong go experience.
Not to far from Kyoto station and many little restaurants. It’s also very close to Nishihongwanji Temple which I think is beautiful and other temples.
You’ve got a laundrymat at 7 mins by foot and a Presco (little supermarket).
The staff was fabulous. Thank you for having me
Helpful staff, good location, room was fine besides a really, I mean really carried light switch that we couldn't fine and had to sleep with it on. the walls are paper thin and everyone can hear everything. facilities are all communal. If you are okay with all that then this is a fine place.
Perfect! It's perfect. You might need to walk about 10 - 15 minutes to a subway station but trust me, it really worth it.
This small traditional building so well preserved, with Tatami rooms. Bathrooms are top notch, so clean and warm to linger.
The only regret? We should have stayed longer. OH! Did I mentioned about the comic room?.... :)
Fabulous place to stay. This is a bit more like a hostel with amenities like a washer with soap provided, a Japanese style bath and shared kitchen. Nice way to experience Japanese style living. There is also a small tatami mat manga room as well. Conveniently located near the Kyoto train station and on a bus line. Neighborhood is nice and quiet with restaurants and stores in walking distance.
We had a very nice time in this guest house. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend the food evening they have, it's fun and you can meet cool people!
