Normally, we start check-in from 2:00pm, we could show room to you once the room is ready if you come here after 1:00 before 2:00.(it depends on seasons.) About the location, the nearest subway station, Karasumaoike, is the station which two subway line cross over. So it is convenient to access to major tourist spots (Arashiyama, Nijo castle, Uji and so on.) Although there are many restaurants and coffee shops near our hotel within walking distance, we believe we can provide our guest with quiet comfortable stay as our hotel is located in quiet residential area. For a security reason, our entrance door will be locked from 1am to 6am, our staff will be front to wait for you until you come back. Also we will give you the password for door. End of July is one of the busiest season in Kyoto due to Gion festival, but this is one of things we want to introduce to everyone. As you mentioned, we are located where the festival is going on, so you can enjoy watching floats and listening to beautiful sound of traditional instrument while walking street, lots of excitement is going on within a few blocks.
