We have tried different dishes from most of the food stalls and feel this one has the best quality, consistency, taste and price. They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

Couldn’t recommend this place more! The rooms are so modern the shower has full pressure which is rare in Thailand big TV with access to Netflix. Rooms are cleaned every day they also have activities every day and a dart board pool table volleyball and beer pong. The bed is easily the comfiest i have stayed in any hotel

Great location near lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Very modern room with large smart tv. Comfy bed, spotless and spacious. Lots going on in the hostel. Pool table, ping pong, games, dj etc. I’m not downside is the noise coming from all the bars nearby. Thumping bass til gone 3am. Luckily I’m a deep sleeper! Despite this would definitely stay in this room again for the price.

The 2000b cash deposit was annoying and should be done with a credit card hold. The other option was to give your passport which was not secured well. My room was everything you need and the place is a great design. Its very loud and please I had a quiet back room to sleep in.

Reception qué at the coolest hotel.

The coolest place to stay if your young at mind, ans up for some party time in Chaweng. The pool area i great, pool could have been deeper and cleaner. But great atmosphere and drinks. I had a private double room that was very clean and had a great room solution even though it was a small room it was comfortable. No chairs was the only thing missing. They have cool hostel rooms with 4 and 4 beds i had a look and I don't do hostels but I could have stayed here I think. Only downside was the reception that was totally useless, at checking they use at least 10-15 min on each guest, doing "stuff" and when there is a line of 10+ at all times it gets frustrating, and only one girl doing the check-ins. It took me well over one hour in line to check in, not acceptable and I would never go back here because of the reception.

NOISY place to stay (which we should have known from the pictures…). The music was playing loudly from 12-12 with way too much base then is necessary. There were maybe 3 people in the pool even listening to it max. The hotel location is great, tons of fun spots around the hotel within walking distance. For the hotel stay itself we weren’t super impressed. The room was small (which is fine). It had a space for a mini fridge but it didn’t come with one. That night we asked if it was possible to get one, and they said they would bring it up the next day. It never came. We also asked for an extra pillow, and it never came. We asked again for another pillow the following day and they said it would be brought to the room when the room was cleaned. We put the room up for cleaning as we left for the day and when we came back no extra pillow and the room wasn’t cleaned. The cleaning staff had come in and just made our bed with the sheets that we originally had on it. Nor did they clean the empty pizza box that we had waiting on top of the garbage can. After that we gave up hope for an extra pillow. The one day we spent out by a pool we ordered a dark & stormy (off their bar menu), and the bartender made it with Campari??? Overall it’s a super noisy hotel that is geared towards a younger crowd. Even though there weren’t many people enjoying the amenities whenever we were around. We weren’t impressed.

Comfy and Clean

Socialtel was a great place to stay in Koh Samui. It is super clean, the beds were so comfy and the pool area was comfortable as well. Walking distance to a lot of popular bars and restaurants!

Socialtel is doing everything right for the crowd they want. Great staff that tries to create a good environment for the guests. I’d say this is more a hotel than a hostel. Room is nice. pool and bar area is above and beyond any cheap place I’ve ever stayed.

Great instgrammable hip place to stay in Koh Samui. In the middle of the shopping and party centre but still relaxed and calm. Great friendly and helpful staff. Only two minutes awat from the beautiful beach. But you can also just chill at their perfect pool. Nice clientele, we met some lovely people there. Great restaurants just around the corner.

So dirty. they do not clean the rooms daily only make the beds. Also it is on the main street so there is NOISE every night until 2:30 am. So if you plan on sleeping this is not the place for you. The night time manager is beyond rude. If you are between 20-30 years old and want to party in a dirty hotel this is for you.

Go here!! This was the cleanest, most thoughtful and fun hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Is is beautifully designed, with a clean pool and pool bar in a convenient location. 3 minute walk to the beach and in the middle of all the happening. There’s not one department this place has failed in. The rooms were exceptionally clean with a huge balcony and daily housekeeping. There were two en-suite toilets and two modern showers with hot water. The mattress felt like heaven and the air con worked so well and was quiet. Seriously, some of the best sleeps of my life. The rooms seemed to have great soundproofing, so you can sleep even when you’re not into partying much. During the day this place had a casual, laid back vibe where you can chill by the pool or enjoy good coffee and food. At night, there’s daily social activities like pool tournaments, quiz nights. Great, if you want to meet people and have fun. There’s also a WhatsApp group if you want to engage more. It’s seriously good vibes and nothing pretentious as I’ve experienced at other hostels. Inside the hotel is a speak-easy bar with professional cocktails. They have the attentive staff and loveliest security. I felt very safe in this place. I had an amazing time and I would come back any time!
