Amazing stay! You feel welcome from the moment you make you reservation until you leave, with Jun (the hotel manager) in frequent contact with you to make sure you have the best experience. Staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel did not have many rooms occupied those days so we felt like the hotel was only for us. It was my first gay hotel and it was a great experience! Room was spacious (I just suggest a small renovation in the bathroom). Two amazing advantages: free late check out unless your room will be occupied that day; and breakfast available all day! Would love to come back!

Overall the resort is well placed and has all the basic elements for a good time. 15 min walk to beach and shopping centre, so be prepared to wander and explore. Lots of rules, follow these and you won’t have any issues with management. Limited opening hours of poolbar and play areas (8pm closing) makes after dinner partying to be taken offsite. Low season at our visit, which gave us the resort nearly to ourselves. Airport transfer available, but grab just as cheap if preferred. If planning visit, don’t come with expectations and bring your open mind. Enjoy the tranquil garden surrounds and hopefully fun that may be had if you’re lucky.

The staff is incredible helpful and was very flexible when it came to check in and out. Highly appreciated. Arranges social events , so it was very nice as a solo traveller. The price is a bit too high for a standard room compared to what you get other places, might be because of high season, but all in all good.

My partner and I stayed at Alpha for five nights in January and had a wonderful time. Having come from another resort, what stood out to us most was how social and friendly everyone was, and I believe this is what makes Alpha special. During our stay, other guests would come by on day passes making the social scene even more enjoyable. Jun is a fantastic host and really does a great job of making Alpha a welcoming space for gay men. While there are more luxurious resorts on the island, Alpha was a perfect choice for us. The rooms were comfortable and the pool area was a relaxing oasis during the day. I will definitely return to Oasis in the future and I highly recommend it as a great place for other gay men to stay on a trip to Koh Samui.

Alpha Resort was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. The facilities are great and anything you might need, Jun is only too happy to help you with. I enjoyed it so much that on day 2 of my 6 night stay I rebooked for another stay in Feb next year. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful few days at Alpha! Jun and his staff were excellent in making certain our stay was enjoyable. The property is a very convenient walk to the Chaweng beach area, lively bars and restaurants, and the large Central shopping complex. The grounds are lush and tropical and the main pool is an enjoyable place to spend the day. We will certainly be returning for more visits!

Obviously for gay men. This was a very welcome and relaxing environment. Everyone was friendly, not particularly cruisey. I did meet some guys naturally in a social way, which was a nice vacation surprise.
