「We visited Silverdale last year, and loved this hotel so much that we booked again this year and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, clean room, great amenities, great breakfast selection and the view from the restaurant is beautiful. 「The place needs updating. There are no towel hooks in the bathroom. The furnished hair dryer only blew a small amount of lukewarm air. The room was not cleaned during my stay. There are not enough wall plugs. Temperature adjustments in the room are restricted to a small band. The mattress was not comfortable. The room furniture was sparse. 」

「This building has been neglected, it has exposed rotting wood, years of failing to do basic outside maintenance and the rooms were lightly cleaned with crumbs under the beds and a bathroom that hadn’t been swept out. In addition to that, the pool has been closed for years and Expedia has not updated that information. This hotel does not deserve the rating that it has and I will not book here again. The beds, however, were comfortable. 」
