「Valentines evening with overnight stay.
Check in easy, mostly done online prior to arrival. Room was good size and very clean, hotel situated along side of busy A55, but road noise in room was minimal.

「Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.」

「What a gem!
Cannot fault this b&b at all.
We stayed in Room 5.
We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room
Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy.
Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast.
Shower was lovely and powerful.
Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be. Absolutely would stay again and will recommend.」

「11pm late check in staff left a key in a safe which was great but when we got to the room the door was actually ajar which is worrying when the rooms are accessed from outside and the car park is a car charging area with random people turning up all night. 「Perfect location, beautiful property with great amenities. Staff were polite and very helpful.
Room was tastefully furnished. Shower was hot and powerful. Cleaning staff arrived promptly and did an excellent job.
Only minor criticism was cooked breakfast was served whilst I was eating first course which meant I had to eat quickly or risk food being cold. That said, food was delicious.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.」

「Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for.
Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly.
Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much.
Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. 」
