"The guest house was as we expected it. Nice and clean, whoever painted it over the last couple of years did a really nice job. Well positioned the everything. The pub around the corner was good to visit for a drink. We were met by John when we arrived and found him delightful to talk to. Happy to provide advice about where to go and what to see, and just generally interested in us. For our travels we caught the #15 bus to Canterbury which was nice to visit, the cathedral was undergoing...

"The public areas are run down. The room was a stark contrast to the lobby. Bright, clean, spacious. Beautiful view out to the water.
