「Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. 」

「Wonderful building with charming, comfortable and quiet rooms - you can see why The Cross is a very popular place to stay. The host was extremely helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best that we have had on our travels, very well cooked and extremely good quality. A big shout out to Luna the cat too! Thanks for a lovely couple of days. 」

「From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Asked for a quiet room at the back and got one. Excellent location for our needs and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely return. 」

「Very happy with the room and facilities, very friendly owner and extremely comfy bed. The only downside was there was no phone signal in the area, but that also meant i had no distractions for the evening! So not so bad. It also had great parking right outside the room. Great price too for what you get. Highly recommended.」

「We had a lovely boutique room, recently refurnished with comfortable bed and excellent shower. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great value for money.」

「The person who greeted us (I think James?) was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. Room felt fresh and had some cool old features. The shower and bed were fantastic. We had a really good pizza and a pint for about £14 each in the lovely gardens (they even put vegan cheese on for me). The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients. All in all it was a great stay and good value for money. We hope to see you again post-festival in 2027, thank you for having us!」
