Top Kilborn's on the Rideau Hotel Reviews
Travelodge by Wyndham Gananoque
10/10 Excellent
"Travelling with our dog. Pet friendly room. Nicely appointed room with back door to green space to walk the dog."
Tru By Hilton Gananoque, On
8/10 Good
"Free ev charge in front of the hôtel, clean but a bit noisy ventilation."
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Gananoque
10/10 Excellent
"An excellent place to rest and recover after a long day. Signing in was quick and easy as well as signing out. A small breakfast corner was well equipped and maintained. Staff were pleasant and accommodating."
Ramada by Wyndham 1000 Islands/Gananoque
8/10 Good
"We checked into our updated room a little before 3 pm. I had pre-paid with Expedia so they confirmed my ID, requested a credit card for incidentals, and showed us a map of where our room was. The room had high ceilings which made it seem larger. However, there weren't any drawers to use to put our clothes in. The bathroom is split enclosed (shower-toilet) and open sink area. They have a large dining area for breakfast with a few hot items (eggs, sausage, coffee). The pool is a decent size, though I thought the water was a tad cold. Once you're in (the water) you can adjust. Beds were decent, complete with four pillows. Overall, a nice stay."
Tay Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and everything you need. Bathrooms well equipped with grab bars and the shower had a built in seat. Great for seniors! Staff is friendly and helpful."
Roger's Motel
8/10 Good
"Super easy check in. Girl on the desk was very nice. Room was fine, clean, felt a bit overcrowded by the door with the chairs and table. Maybe change fridge location with the chairs and table. A bit disappointed in the location but we were only there for one night so it didn’t matter and that was on us anyway. Bed was super comfortable! Slept great!"
Comfort Inn & Suites Thousand Islands Harbour District
10/10 Excellent
"Great location beautiful area lots to do and see quick drive to Kingston!!"
The Cove Inn
10/10 Excellent
"First time at The Cove Inn..was lovely. Lots of character, great restaurant and entertainment, friendly staff. Will definitely come again!"
Hotel Kenney Rideau
10/10 Excellent
"From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the beautiful Front Desk Manager aka POWWOW the Golden Retriever you know you have stumbled upon something special. This 150 year old property is situated on the most breathtaking view of the Rideau Canal, watch as boats enter and exit the locks. The owners, Jeff and Core do everything to make your stay comfortable and are always on site should you need anything. They are great Hosts and have done so much work (we stayed there last year and this year and they have been working tirelessly and it shows). The food, well I can tell you the snack shop breakfast sammies and world famous cookies are show stoppers, wide variety of ice cream for those taking a stroll. The greatest surprise this year is the expanded restaurant hours, patio fare and the amazing Sunday Brunch. We were very impressed by all the food and again these gentlemen put it all together themselves, always very hands on from greeting guests to preparing mouthwatering food. If you are local to the area, check out the restaurant/patio. They also offer docking for boaters. If you would like to step away from it all and totally relax then do yourself a favour and book a stay at this hidden gem. See you next year!!!!"
