Keswick Country House Hotel

Keswick Country House Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This is an old style country house hotel. As such it will probably not be to everyone's personal taste (e.g.perhaps decor a bit dark) but we thought this hotel was excellent. Service, breakfast both super. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and, importantly, has (free) car parking facilities. Would have no hesitation in staying here again."

"We knew the minute we arrived we were already going to be coming back in the future! Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Gave us all the information we needed. We had arrived early to leave the car and get the bus into Keswick. A lovely lady on reception took my number so she could ring if the room became ready earlier than the 3pm check in which was really kind! When we returned she took us to our room and let us know about breakfast etc. The room was SO clean, fresh and we got settled in quickly :) Breakfast was brilliant. Again, lovely staff and let us know where everything was and there if we needed anything. All of the lovely food on offer got us really set up for the day, and on top of that to sit looking out at a beautiful view... Couldn't have asked for more! We stayed two nights and were sad to leave but as I say we knew straight away we will be coming back :) Beautiful location, fantastic, comfy room for a great sleep, good food and great staff. Couldn't recommend more."

"Staff were all very helpful. Our very clean and comfortable room on the third floor had a wonderful view over Hope Gardens, Catbellsand beyond. Breakfast was very good. Really convenient car par parking but we were rather confused as whether or not it was free to hotel residents. No decaf tea available. A lounge would have been nice."
