「The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) 「The location of the property was ideal for shopping and restaurants (about 5 minutes to several shopping centers and the mall). It is also not far from Sandy point (about 15 minutes) or Kent Island attractions (about 25 minutes). There is nothing to complain about with the staff who were nice enough. The room and hotel are fine but, to me, were not quite up to the expected standard of a DoubleTree. We didn't use it but there is a convenient shuttle that probably we could have taken advantage of.」

「This is our second stay and the first time there was a bridal party staying in the hotel and the groomsmen were having a loud and fantastic time! Mainly in the bar downstairs, but also the hallways and the elevator. But, it was a wedding and so we just kind of went with the flow. The hotel itself is clean and the views of the water from the balcony are nice. There was staff when we checked in, but absolutely no parking and this happened last time as well.
