We stayed at Mabel's House for 2 nights. It was a perfect quaint inn. Very well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly. We ate at Mabel's Lobster Claw and at Ocean for dinner. Both were delicious. We kayaked the River and stopped at Federal Jacks brewpub for lunch. The lobster bisque was amazing. Kennenbunkport is a delightful town.

Very quaint! Used the bikes but tires needed air and my husbands bike chain kept falling off. A bagged breakfast was different but still enjoyed it. Would recommend.

Mables is absolutely a great place to stay!!! The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Mables restaurant such a convenient spot and wonderful food. We look forward to seeing them next year. Breakfast suggestion……sleeves for hot coffee/hot water otherwise continental breakfast was perfect and delish.

The contactless choices, such as no staff assistance, using codes to access the doors, grabbing a small breakfast bag to go, and opting out of room service unless necessary, offered convenience but slightly diminished the personal touch and seemed a bit expensive for the services offered.

Great location—walkable to a small beach and town. Small room—stayed in 47, but had all the amenities and a sweet view onto an inlet. Lovely staff who will provide whatever you need. One critique is with the continental breakfast served daily—bagged per person I suppose due to COVID precautions, but pretty sad offerings. Sugary mini yogurt and a small cup of uninspiring cut fruit, with a cold pastry that varies daily. The pastry was potentially pretty good but cold, with no way to heat it. Served with cheap plastic utensils. No microwave or toaster oven available. Good coffee and plenty of it. Also orange juice is available—but those breakfast offerings should be better than that for the price of the room. Most places have restored hot breakfast service, but this place still clings to the COVID type limitations of a bagged cold breakfast. The site manager Alberto does try his best to be accommodating and did provide a real butter knife and bowls at our request when we brought in our own fruit and cereal etc.

We had a delightful 5-day stay at Mabel's House! Alberto and all the staff were welcoming and gracious hosts and took such good care of us. Their location is excellent — far removed enough from the busy foot and car traffic of central Kennebunkport to offer peace and quiet and a good night's sleep, while just a 12-15 minute walk (or even quicker bike ride or drive) to that lively part of town. Even closer in the other direction, you have a lovely small beach and beautiful meandering coastline dotted with charming seaside houses. I won't soon forget the wonderful running route this provided! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Suite, which was clean, up-to-date, and nicely furnished, and offered our family of four plenty of room to spread out comfortably in. The included continental breakfast was a big help to have, as it let us spend more time enjoying the beaches and less in restaurants. Having bicycles available to borrow gave us a nice way to go see the town, and having use of four EV charging spaces (3 Tesla wall adapters 1 J1772) was a nice bonus not mentioned in the property description. The associated restaurant next door is a must visit; we enjoyed a great meal there on arriving. Overall, a wonderful vacation spot. We would definitely recommend Mabel's House to friends, and look forward to returning!

Had a fabulous stay at Mabel’s Place, comfortable, accommodating, clean. Great location, walking distance from the square and harbor, next door to their incredible restaurant. Enjoyed use of the bikes or just sitting on the back facing the river. Above all, the staff was outstanding and provided all the info on the area. We’ll be back.

Had a wonderful stay at Mabel's House. Contactless check-in was very easy, room was very adequate, staff was very pleasant, and it was in a great location (close to the beach, shopping, including a convenience store next door, and dining). Would certainly come back! Note that it is located about 3/4 mile from the Kennebunkport town center, which is walkable, but we tended to drive and park in the main parking lot in town to have additional shopping and dining options. I saw shuttles running, and believe bicycles are available from the hotel as transit options into town, but we never used them.

Lovely and peaceful stay, the place is in excellent condition and provides serenity with activities right around the corner. The only negatives were no coffee maker in the room and downstairs did not make it until 8am. And they should really have recycling baskets in the room.

Great boutique hotel in Kennebunkport. Rooms are on the smaller end but you shouldn’t be spending a ton of time in the room! The bathrooms are great and spacious. If you get a chance, the restaurant, Mabel’s Lobster, is fantastic.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mabel’s House. We were in the luxury suite which is huge- two large bedrooms, living area and kitchen. It was awesome! It was very clean and very quiet- we didn’t hear a peep the whole time we were there. Cute shops across the street and Mabel’s restaurant right next door. We stayed in the cottage and thought it was a lovely space in a beautiful setting. It was a perfect compromise between the convenience of a hotel and the extra space of an Airbnb. The location in town was excellent and walkable to many great spots. The best part of the stay was the extremely helpful and attentive staff who responded almost instantly and took care of our needs promptly. Alberto in particular was so gracious and attentive, and even helped us get a hard to manage reservation at a restaurant. Strong recommend to anyone to stay here!

We absolutely loved our time at Mabel's House! We stayed in the two-bedroom Cove Side Cottage, which was adorable and perfect for our needs. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. While check in was contactless, someone stopped by shortly after we arrived to make sure everything went smoothly. Someone else came by later to ask us about any food allergies to prepare for the continental breakfast, which consisted of yogurt, fruit, and fresh pastries every day, served in personalized paper bags with our room number on them (so cute!). After the first day when I asked for Splenda for my tea and they didn't have any on hand, the next morning there was a whole dish of Splenda in addition to the rest of the sugar -- so thoughtful! We loved the location and the fact that it was "on the water" with the tidal estuarine cove. I went kayaking with the free rentals they offered and it was so peaceful. Plus, Colony Beach was right down the road, where we enjoyed watching the sunset on our final night. The shops across the street were fantastic -- don't miss Dannah for Men! And Dock Square was a short drive away. We also ended up eating at Mabel's Lobster Claw (the restaurant right next to the property) for both lunch & dinner. The calamari & chicken scampi linguine were divine!! Long story short, Mabel's House is a truly incredible place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kennebunkport!

Great staff. Only recommendation is put a carpet or something ti absorb sound in area about room 42. You could hear every step and dropped item. Besides that the hotel staff goes out of their way to accommodate and make you feel at home. Will stay in another room next time.

Great place to stay! Can walk to the town and park in front of Mabel's house. Walkable to the beach and other shopping spots. Beautiful scenery. Very independent place. More like a airbnb because no one is on sight after around 1-2pm. You had better make sure you have everything you need before they leave. I had read other review so I expected this and so it was fine when I had to wait another day to get a blanket and ask for a hairdryer. Beautiful place all-around! Very pricey for cottage, but it was worth it for the scenery and quietness! Had a great time, we will be back!

This Inn was extremely clean and I am a particularly fussy person. The room itself was spacious. Plenty of clean linens. The ice machine was nearby and there was a small refrigerator in common area to use if needed. Parking was ample. Continental breakfast was very satisfying. The check-in was contactless although I would have preferred a person to meet. I was contacted via text with all the info that I needed. The only area that I felt was in need of improvement was their lack of recycling which I did mention at check out. I look forward to returning to Mable’s House.
