"We came from Nagano and had been staying at the Mercure Matsushino resort hotel, and it was terrible. The Hotel Rosso was such a relief, everything was new and clean and in good condition. Even the food quality was so much better. I was so relieved at the upkeep and quality of the Hotel Rosso. I highly recommend staying here. "

"2nd time in this hotel, was definitely less good than the first time, dinner was amazing but breakfast had a lot of issues, my pregnant wife had bottle cap in her salad and our coffee we ordered for breakfast never came, expect more from an hotel at this price point, we will probably not come again "

"This was simply the best and most lovely hotel stay in Japan ever and I have traveled there many times. The staff are so incredibly kind - it is overwhelming. The rooms are old-fashioned but quaint. The location is fantastic - at the end of the road so nice and quiet. The buffet breakfast was lovely - highly recommended. If you're using Google Maps to get there - take a cab from the train station and don't bother with the bus. It's only 1300 yen and so worth it. Absolutely loved this place and will most definitely go back!"
