Solid for a Hilton Garden Inn. If you're expecting a resort, you won't find it. But it's great place if you're honest with expectations. Great location for families with beach and playgrounds steps away.

The Royal Sonesta Kaua'i Resort Lihue
Request a room off the first level, away from the elevators and away from staff areas. We were on the first floor and could hear every door closed, when the staff would go in and out of their areas, etc.

Kaua'i Palms Hotel
Pretty clean but dated. No kitchen. Small fridge. Cafes nearby. Good enough for a late night arrival. Bring ear plugs!
