"Even the shops and restaurants that AREN'T nearby SEEM nearby because the streetcar stops eery 10 minutes outside the front door of the hotel. This gives visitors easy access to almost everything one might want to do...Country Club Plaza and River Market shopping and restaurants, WW1 Museum, Union Station, The Arabia Steamboat Museum, the Nelson Atkins art museum (and others) and lots of restaurants."

"We checked in and went up to our room and noticed room was warm. We turned the AC down in the room and went to bed. We got warm through the night and I’d end up opening a window. My Husband went down with the front desk following morning and they ended up telling him that the AC was out. That was not told to us upon check-in. They told us we could open up a window and that would cool the room off. Remind you, we are in downtown Kansas City, where there are sirens, loud noises, etc. The first day our room was not cleaned and of course we came back and requested housekeeping. It took three days to get our room cleaned. All of this to say the communication amongst the hotel staff was extremely poor."

"The only "negative" I had was the balcony being non-accessible. But it didn't ruin my stay, just would've been cool to sit out. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite hotels to stay at."

"Really helpful staff and clean room. Wish they had free breakfast as it was a little pricey to purchase. Pool closed 2 days our sty for cleaning, but they offered my kids snacks for the hasstle. "

"Conveniently located to power and light, the street car which has multiple stops for sightseeing and eats. Loews is at least a yearly stop for us. Quiet, great views of KC skyline. Pool was clean and refreshing. Good drinks at the bar. "

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming! They don't change out towels but they also don't provide towel racks to hang towels so we were requesting new towels as we didn't have a place to dry out our towels daily. Breakfast was adequate but we stayed for several days and breakfast choices never changed(no variety). We skipped our last day. "

"No maid service for 4 days. Why? Not my idea of a clean hotel room. Biggest hair on bathroom floor, stuff in shower. "
