"This is a beautiful hotel. Our room had been recently updated and had a patio. We were surrounded by mountains. Our room had a view of 4 waterfalls coming through the mountains. The breakfast was delicious. It included specialty coffees and provided for my dietary needs (gluten and dairy intolerant). It has a lovely pool and great amenities. A complimentary bus is provided for visiting surrounding towns."

hotel in Kandersteg. The owners and staff made sure we were well looked after. The room was spotlessly clean & comfortable and had the most amazing view with a balcony. "We were three adults including my son staying in a three-person room, very comfortable, great view from the balcony. The hotel was an excellent base for hiking in the Kandersteg area, and was close enough to the village centre to easily walk to restaurants and to shop for lunch food. "

"The pictures do not do the place justice. Top level. Pool is warm, customer service goes above and beyond as the norm. Got in a bit of trouble for playing piano at 11pm but don't blame them as I'm no concert pianist. Wish I'd have booked the place for a week. Thanks for having me."

"Kandersteg, located in the Swiss Alps, is a true winter wonderland. The small village is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, making it the perfect destination for a winter getaway. Hotel Alpina sits about a 10min walk from the train station. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. More options for breakfast would have been nice but overall it was a great stay.
