「The couple that own this guest house are wonderful, friendly, caring, and kind. The day I left, the gentleman walked me to the train station, to help me get my ticket and stayed until I left on the train.」

「My low rating is aimed mostly at the owner and Hotels.com. I arrived to find that despite having a confirmation the hotel was not expecting me. I had paid upfront so did not agree to rebooking at the time. Instead I called Hotels.com. Extremely negative experience. Asks for confirmation number then says can’t find it and hangs up!! I have other reservations so put those numbers in to try but nothing was recognised. I left the property (which had no other occupants) and logged my complaint...

「The hotel is undergoing renovations & is essentially a construction site. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it might be okay for you. The reason for the review and # of stars is mostly due to the lack of communication ahead of our stay - it’s very common for hotels to send a message ahead of the stay; we didn’t hear anything from the hotel, and then when we arrived they appeared surprised to receive us. 」

「What a lovely location! I selected this hotel on a whim to relax after a busy tour. What a lovely place on a quiet cobblestone lane. The back faces the lagoon with a lovely view, water sports are available and the front faces the ocean and long sandy beach. Exquisite rooms, delightful staff, a charming hotel. A pleasant walk or tuk tuk to town. I enjoyed my stay. A little off the beaten path but so worth it. Oh and there is a small pool which I didn't use as the ocean was warm and so close.」
