The kitchen cabinets and countertops were old and due for replacement, which I believe was planned for this year. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay as it was conveniently located between the beaches that we visited in north and south Kohala. Staff were super friendly. Towel exchange service was definitely a plus. "
