Staff very friendly, clean well decorated room. Quiet as there was very little road noise, just some roosters (as nearly everywhere in Hawaii). The main drawback was an insufficiently dark room at night thanks to greatly excessive outdoor lighting in front combined with slatted blinds that were far from light tight. Reduced lighting by 50% or more (preferable as someone who supports dark skies) or put room darkening blinds in the front.

The studio apartment was a charming place conveniently located close to many amenities (cafes, groceries, restaurants, etcetera). The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Waimea was our base to explore other areas such as Pololu valley, Hawi and others. The manager was very helpful in providing local information of good restaurants around all the multiple areas we visited. It was always good to have an insiders' point of view. Thank you!

Amazing stay!

I enjoyed the stay. The room was very nice and the beds were super comfortable. Four people stayed in our room and had plenty of space. The room itself was beautiful, and the mountain view from our window was even better.

The only downside was the road the lodge is on. It was very busy depending on what time of day you left or came back. It was a wonderful, peaceful stay in beautiful Waimea with lots in walking range!

This place is absolutely charming. Waimea town is set in lush green cinder cones with cool tradewind breeze. So Hawaiian pastoral, the building is just one story like an old time motel. The room has mini kitchenette and comfortable beds. We enjoyed staying here.

We stay here often. No frills, but the rooms are comfortable and staff is helpful and friendly. Just due to rural location, WiFi is weak in case you need to do business, not the best connection. Also, water pressure is slight again likely rural living. Otherwise, very comfortable.

The staff were very helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to make a meal. Also, close to a coffee shop, grocery store and numerous restaurants. We enjoyed the stay. The only drawback was a rooster. But, Hawaii loves their chickens!
